The Application! The Wait! The Acceptance!

Aloha Everyone!
so i didn't include this in the previous post because
i figure that one won't get as much as attention as this one will..

Hah! who am i kidding... no one might read this anyway since the application process is over!

Moving on! the Application!
Let me tell you something, i applied twice in the past..
YES TWICE!!
Oh Boy, i was pretty bummed when i didn't get accepted..
BECAUSE I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT PAST THE WBI !!

Can you believe that ?! Maybe i was just a miserable, lonely, rude,
not punctual, or honest enough little twit..
i don't know, i made it this time though! so WHAT WHAT?!
#yolo !! or in my case #yolt??????
Whatever..

so Which programs did i apply for?
Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.
i was pretty persistent. Came in handy i guess..Third times the charm?

So the application !!
after doing it twice before i knew what was coming..
short and brief info about yourself (thank God they don't ask for GPA)

and you wait, until the WBI email... if you're lucky enough to get one. and it looks like this!!

Then you take it.. obviously.. and if you pass it, you get this wonderful E-Mail!

I think i might have over prepared for the phone interview..

i mean like OVER prepared...
i looked up every question they could possibly ask you,

looked up blogs, tumblrs, facebook groups..
i was a mess !! i was prepared..
and still felt like i would choke.. 

PLUS SHE CALLED ME 10 MINUTES LATE, 

i thought they forgot about me and was having a melt down/ cardiac arrest ...

my interviewers name was Kim (THANKS KIM !!)
and she was the sweetest person and made me feel so comfortable..
she was awesome and asked me tons of questions.
some i knew ahead of time how i was going to answer, the others, not so much.

i tried my best and my hardest and even got a few laughs out of her and it was great !!
im super lucky i got Kim, but i know other people had great interviewers too because not once have i heard of someone who got someone grumpy or rude.. its DISNEY
we're supposed to be happy !!

then came the waiting game.....

let me tell you something...
LONGEST FREAKING WEEK OF MY LIFE !!!!!!!!!

people who interviewed after me got accepted before i did..
i was freaking every time my phone buzzed ..
yes i got accepted in a week.. (a week after my phone interview)
and i know others had to wait MUCH longer.

so for that i am grateful..
but lets be honest CPers or Future CPers..
we all know how AGONIZING, MISERABLE, DEPRESSING, STRESSFUL,
and just plain mean how long that wait could be !!
i mean i was an emotional wreck.. ask my friends..
they'll tell you.

but then, that BEAUTIFULLY PERFECT EMAIL finally came...

I cried.

tears, snot, ruined mascara, the whole nine yards.

i did it.

i got in.

i'm going to D I S N E Y W O R L D !

That email was the single most beautiful thing i ever got in my life..
i've never been so happy.

i accomplished my goal, i got my dream. i was going to Disney !

it felt so good.
i honestly thought it was just a message from one of my girl friends Shawn or Tiffany

(sorry girls! not being mean!)
(also a fellow DCPs in QSFB !)

i was reading so i didn't check it at first.

i was losing hope thinking that i wouldn't get an email at all.

Shawn got hers the day before me and Tiffany the day after me
and they were both pended, but was the best encouragers (?) ever!
we were each others rocks when we were feeling down.

and we all made it!

so i finally finished the chapter,
(i was reading insurgent)

and i looked and saw it was from Disney..
in the subject line was congratulations..

it was the best thing ever..
you think you know how that feels?
no you don't, not until you get an email from Disney.

so to summarize this SUPER obnoxiously long Post..

Applied: Feb 24. 2014

WBI: Feb 25. 2014

Phone Interview: Mar 5. 2014
Accepted: Mar 13. 2014
Arrival Date: Aug 18. 2014
Role: Merchandise
Departure Date: Jan 5. 2014
